SEAFOOD.COM NEWS [Seafoodnews.com] April 30, 2013 — Gloucester residents in need will continue to receive the support they need this spring thanks to $25,000 in funding provided to Catholic Charities North from local and international seafood companies and their service suppliers.
The Catholic Charities North Advisory Board rallied 34 companies and individuals to add to the Fund this winter. Major donors included Bama Sea Products, Eastern Fish, Elite Seafood, Yuval Gattegno, Hai Yang International, High Liner Foods, Ipswich Shellfish, Label Print America, National Development, National Fish and Seafood, Northern Ocean Marine, Preferred Freezer Services, Sean Slain, Arthur Wang, and Zhangzidao Fishery Group.
Other donors included the American Refrigeration Company, Americold, Arista Industries, Paul Brown, Carr Printing, Catania-Spagna Corporation, Brendan Curran, Evangelos Dimitriou, Robert Gillis, William Gowen, Mark Hadley, Mical Seafood, Theodore Parson, Polar Seafood, Mark Reardon, John Sackton, David Simpson, and Turners Seafood.
Without the support of these partners, Catholic Charities North would not be able to reach families in need in the Gloucester community.
Seafood Industry participation was spearheaded by Mark Leslie, of High Liner Foods.
