Or maybe you're a fan of her books. Greenlaw was captain of the Hannah Boden, the sister ship of the Andrea Gail, which was lost with all hands in the Atlantic in the 1991 "Perfect Storm."
In his book, "The Perfect Storm," Sebastian Junger called Linda Greenlaw "one of the best captains … on the entire East Coast."
That one line incited Greenlaw's writing career. It seemed the entire world wanted to hear from America's only female swordfishing captain.
