WASHINGTON, D.C.—The U.S. Senate Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation announces the following Oceans, Atmosphere, Fisheries, and Coast Guard Subcommittee hearing on implementation of the Magnuson-Stevens Fishery Conservation and Management Act.
The hearing was requested by Senator Bill Nelson to discuss concerns related to issues with the National Marine Fisheries Service in Florida.
Representing New England at this meeting will be Vito Giacalone, policy director at Gloucester-based Northeast Seafood Coalition.
