United States Senator Bill Nelson boarded the Lady Anderson boat Friday afternoon to meet with local fisherman and charter boat captains who are feeling the effects of the oil crisis already.
"This was the year that we were hoping to have a turnaround year, because we've had several bad years, and it just got taken out from under us. It's like pulling the rug out from under us,” said Captain Bob Zales II, President of the National Association of Charter Boat Operators.
Friday afternoon, Senator Bill Nelson met with Captain Zales, as well as several of his peers, to listen to their concerns about the ongoing oil spill.
