Washington, DC, April 6, 2012 – A bipartisan group of 21 Congressmen have written a letter to the Chairman and Ranking Member of the House Committee on Natural Resources urging them to act on proposed reforms to the Magnuson-Stevens Fisheries Management Act.
The group wrote that the committee should immediately consider proposed reforms to Magnuson-Stevens, and that deficiencies in the current law are causing great economic harm to fishing communites without helping fish stocks. The signers of the letter are:
