The Speaker of the Massachusetts House of Representatives, Robert A DeLeo issued the following statement:
“Secretary Locke’s decision is a serious blow to Massachusetts fishermen and their families. In these difficult times, it’s particularly important that we support the growth of the fishing industry in the Commonwealth and I will support efforts to protect the livelihood of Massachusetts fisherman and their families.”
