January 9, 2014 — The state Department of Environmental Conservation will open a public comment period for new regulations aimed at stopping the spread of aquatic invasive species at DEC boat launches.
Public comments will be accepted through Feb. 24. Individuals may submit comments via email to fishregs@gw.dec.state.ny.us or by mailing their remarks to Edward Woltmann, New York State Department of Environmental Conservation, Bureau of Fisheries, 625 Broadway, Albany, NY 12233-4753.
