NEW BEDFORD, Mass. — September 13, 2012 — The Ocean Explorium will hold its third annual Fish Bowl tournament from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday. This fundraiser is guaranteed to be great fun for a good cause: education programs at the Ocean Explorium.
Thirty-two lanes have been reserved at Wonder Bowl in New Bedford. There is still time to sign up, either as an individual or as a team of four. Whether you are league-certified or just looking to have a good time with friends and family, the Fish Bowl is for you!
Bowlers of all ages are welcome, but each bowler must raise a minimum of $50 to participate. Fish Bowl participants receive a free T-shirt, pizza and snacks. The Fish Bowl also features a fun raffle, with items and gift certificates donated by area businesses. Trophies will be awarded for top score, top fundraiser, best team costume, most team spirit and more.
