January 7, 2013 — The following has been released by the Maine Department of Marine Resources.
Meetings hosted by the Maine Department of Marine Resources to discuss the state of the lobster industry originally scheduled for January 3rd at the Jonesport fire station and the Machias Memorial High School and January 4th at the Gouldsboro Community Center have been re-scheduled.
The meeting at the Gouldsboro Community Center will be held Thursday, January 24th at noon. The meeting in Machias will be held January 24th at 5:00pm in Room 102 of the Science Building at the University of Maine at Machias. The meeting at the Jonesport Fire Station will be held January 25th at noon.
Information about the meetings and a full schedule can be found on the Department of Marine Resources website. Meeting schedules might change due to weather or flu season, so please check the Department of Marine Resources website on the day of the event you plan to attend to ensure that the meeting will be held.
