NEW ORLEANS — September 15, 2014 — Louisiana shrimpers are back on the water, and most of them returned after three days of what had been planned as a one-week strike for higher prices.
After a meeting last Friday, Louisiana Shrimp Association members said they'd keep their boats docked for a week because prices are so low.
But WVUE-TV reports (http://bit.ly/1wjZ9Jw) that many were trawling again by Tuesday.
