KENNEBUNK — The Maine Lobstermen’s Association has scheduled a series of meetings, one in each of the state’s seven lobster zones, to discuss current research on interactions between lobster gear and endangered whales. The purpose of the meetings is to get feedback from lobstermen about future research projects that they think would add knowledge to this topic.

• Tuesday, Feb. 28 from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Bar Harbor Town Office auditorium.
• Wednesday, Feb. 29 from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Bucksport Town Office.
• Wednesday, Feb. 29 from 2 to 6 p.m., Lincoln Street Center, Rockland.
• Friday, March 16 from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Department of Marine Resources Boothbay Laboratory, Boothbay Harbor.
• Friday, March 16 from 2 to 6 p.m., Yarmouth Town Hall.
• Saturday, March 17 from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., McArthur Library, Biddeford.
