GLOUCESTER, MA – July 16, 2010 – Acting on a request from the Northeast Seafood Coalition, Gov. Deval Patrick Friday urged the federal government to loosen up catch limits and provide an economic relief package.

The announcement by the governor came with a letter addressed to U.S. Commerce Secretary Gary Locke asking for "emergency economic relief for our fishing communities."
