PANAMA CITY, Fl. — April 29, 2014 — NOAA Fisheries has announced a reduction in the daily bag limit for recreational red grouper in the Gulf of Mexico, from four fish to three fish in federal waters.
The in-season adjustment will begin May 5 and red grouper season also will be closed from Sept. 16 through Jan. 1, unless changed in subsequent rulemaking.
