Some fisherman say new federal rules, which take effect Saturday, could put them out of business.
"My biggest fear is that come August or September, we'll be shut down completely," owner of a fishing gear business John Knight said.
Knight has spent his career in the fishing industry. His company, Superior Trawl, makes fishing gear out of Point Judith, Rhode Island. These days, he wonders how long the business will survive.
