May 5, 2015 — Shoreside businesses interested in securing a share of the $750,000 in federal fishery disaster aid designated for Massachusetts must submit pre-qualification information to the state by May 31.
The state Division of Marine Fisheries is managing the distribution of the financial assistance to those waterfront businesses that have been damaged economically by the ongoing federally declared groundfish fishery disaster.
Those businesses that qualify will enter a final application process in June, with payments, which will be capped at $32,500, expected to go out in mid-July.
The businesses can begin the process of applying for the disaster aid by reviewing the RFR #DMF-15018 document online at www.commbuys.com.
