April 7, 2015 — The following was released by Artisan Bistro:
Artisan Bistro, creator of modern organic frozen entrées, burritos, bowls and breakfasts, today announced its new line of Seafood Bowls that bear the blue Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) ecolabel for sustainable, wild-caught seafood. Artisan Bistro is the first entrée frozen food line in North America to earn MSC Chain of Custody certification. Available in four varieties, each chef-inspired seafood entrée is crafted with sustainably-sourced seafood, including wild-caught Alaskan salmon and cod, and wild pink shrimp sourced from fisheries that have been certified as sustainable and well-managed against the global MSC standard. The savory new Seafood Bowls join Artisan Bistro’s rapidly expanding cast of nutritionally-rich frozen meals, marking the company’s third product line launch within three months.
“Our goal with the launch of these bowls is to create the best tasting, best for you frozen meals on the market, while preserving the ocean’s bounty for our children and grandchildren. Our new Seafood Bowls allow everyone to enjoy the convenience of a frozen meal and still feel great about the food they’re eating,” said Leo Griffin, chief executive officer at Artisan Bistro Foods, Inc. “Featuring wild-caught MSC certified sustainable seafood, in addition to at least 70 percent organic and non-GMO ingredients, as in all of our products, these new Seafood Bowls are clean, delicious, and good-for-you options that meet the highest culinary and ethical standards.”
