April 16, 2013 — The following was released by the New England Fishery Management Council:
The New England Fishery Management Council will be live streaming the discussions scheduled to occur on the second day of its Groundfish Committee meeting to be held tomorrow, Wednesday, April 17, 2013, beginning at 8:30 a.m. Please click on this link for a copy of the agenda and meeting materials. Registration information is below.
While the NEFMC has been successfully live streaming its full Council meetings, it has not attempted to do so from this meeting venue. Since capabilities vary from location to location, we cannot guarantee the quality of this broadcast, but will make every attempt to help you listen in. There will be no opportunity for two-way conversations with the Groundfish Committee, either written or verbal, but if all goes well you will be able to view the presentations, committee motions and hear the discussions.
Live streaming the Council’s oversight committee meetings will be accomplished on a case-by-case basis as staff resources, logistics, etc. allow. Please call or send an email to Pat Fiorelli at the Council office if you have any questions. Her contact information is listed below.
Join us for a Webinar on April 17. Reserve your Webinar seat here.
The Closed Area Technical Team will discuss area management options. After registering you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the Webinar.
