PLYMOUTH, Mass. — September 26, 2012 — The New England Fishery Management Council (NEFMC) met on Wednesday to review stock assessments and hear from the NEFMC's Scientific and Statistical Committee (SSC) regarding acceptable biological catch (ABC) recommendations for groundfish, Atlantic herring, and sea scallops for fishing years 2013 through 2014.
