Fishermen’s Energy, LLC, invites you to attend a meeting outlining the Massachusetts Request for Interest (RFI) Area for the development of offshore wind, including the Nantucket Lightship area and East of the Channel, per the attached chart. Fishermen’s Energy is sponsoring this meeting because we believe the fishing industry is not fully aware of the scale of development planned for offshore wind. Originated by participants in the fishing industry our goal for the meeting is to widen the dialog within the fishing community, the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, and the Department of Interior. As you can see from the attached chart, the areas selected for wind resource development by the Department of Interior include historically rich fishing grounds. For Fishermen’s Energy it is important we engage other fishermen early in the process.

Fishermen’s Energy, Our Paradigm:
• Smart facility siting to minimize impacts to fishermen while maximizing offshore energy production, serviceability, and maritime safety
