October 31, 2014 โ As expected, fishing for striped bass next year will be different.
The Atlantic States Marine Fisheries Commissionโs Striped Bass Management Board on Thursday implemented reductions in the commercial and recreational fisheries beginning Jan. 1, 2015.
The ASMFC ruled for a 25 percent coastal reduction from the 2013 take and a 20.5 percent reduction from the 2012 take for the Chesapeake Bay.
