I’ve been writing for years trying to bring the truth out of what’s going on in the fishing industry, and the unlawful acts of government bestowed on our industry.
We went fishing yesterday in Ipswich Bay for whiting and I had a very solemn feeling come over me. In the heyday, there were anywhere from 20 to 50 Gloucester boats, and many other boats from Newburyport, Seabrook, and other ports up and down the coastline to the Isle of Shoals.
Yesterday, there were just two boats from Gloucester that I know of — including the one I was on — in the whole Ipswich Bay. That’s a pretty sad scenario thinking back to all the other boats, crews, jobs, that have perished — thanks to our government.
