Hundreds are expected to kick off St. Peter's Fiesta tonight with a seafood dinner at the Gloucester House restaurant that aims to highlight some of the ocean's less popular edible offerings.
By popular demand, organizers of the New Fish Festival — Fiesta's traditional opening event — are extending a tradition by once again offering a buffet feast served inside the Rogers Street eatery atop white linen tablecloths and real chinaware.
"We had so many calls from different people saying they really enjoyed it last year," Gloucester Fishermen's Wives Association President Angela Sanfilippo said Tuesday. "They thought it was very elegant, quieter and more relaxed."
