The Northeast Fisheries Science Center (NEFSC), at the request of the New England Fishery Management Council, is convening a public meeting to conduct an external peer review of sea scallop survey methodologies currently being used to provide data for sea scallop stock assessments and related fishery management models. Detailed information about the location, accommodations (special rates available until March 6), draft agenda and review panel membership is provided at www.nefsc.noaa.gov/saw/scallop-2015/.
