The New England Fishery Management Council announces today that it has made the most recent version of its Omnibus Habitat Amendment 2 Draft Environmental Impact Statement (DEIS), including its appendices, available on its website. Please click here for Vol. I, OHA2.
It contains the executive summary, background and purpose, and a description of the affected environment. The rest of the document sections can be found at http://www.nefmc.org/habitat/index.html.
Please be aware that this is a draft document that has been submitted to NOAA Fisheries for review and is subject to change. Once the agency’s review is complete and the document has been formally accepted, NOAA Fisheries will publish a Notice of Availability in the Federal Register. In addition to announcing the issuance and public availability of the accepted Draft EIS, the notice also will include specific details about the formal public comment period.
