October 14, 2013 — The following was released by the Northeast Regional Ocean Council:
Due to the federal government shutdown, the November 12-13 Northeast Regional Planning Body (RPB) meeting will be postponed.
In addition, a couple of other updates:
A report of the first phase of mapping of commercial fisheries is now available online. The files can be downloaded at northeastoceancouncil.org/committees/ocean-planning/ (note that the file sizes are large).
Before the next RPB meeting, there will be opportunities to hear updates, discuss progress made over the last few months, and review draft products. For example, on October 30 at 1 pm, the Massachusetts Ocean Advisory Commission will be meeting in Boston (100 Cambridge St., 2nd floor, Conference Room A).
We will be in touch as other meetings are scheduled.
